DS Lite's - Good for the Brain!

I personally think that the Ds lite is great fun to use and is also a good brain excersize too.

My 11 year old grand daughter was playing on her DS lite for ages and I asked her what she was doing - she showed me the various tests and games she plays, which are really good for mental arithmatic.

I asked her if I could give it a try - she told me how to do it, and off I went. Apparently, for my first go I scored quite a reasonable figure, but this game becomes quite a challenge and I couldn't wait to have another go, to improve my score.

I often wonder whether children should play on computers quite so much, but I think this particular piece of equipment is perfectly OK to use as it helps learning skills as well as being fun to use.

DS Lites are proving to be a very popular present this Christmas - I wonder how many are being purchased for children and how many are being purchased by adults for themselves.
